1. Think about the season
Your wedding’s location is one of the most important decisions you will make in the planning process, as it sets the tone for the day. Guests may not remember the types of flowers in your bouquet, or the details on the tablecloth, but they will remember the stunning mountain views at your homestead wedding. When choosing your location, make sure you take the season into account. If you’re getting married in the summer, you’ll need to think about the air-flow and mosquitoes. In the winter, on the other hand, you’ll have to consider the early sun-set. As experts on Gold Coast wedding photography, we’ll know when to whisk you away for that perfect sun-set shot, no matter the season.
2. Communicate openly
Weddings are always a group effort. The venue managers, bar staff, florists, photographers and videographers are all there to do their part. Before they can do their part properly, however, they need to know what you are looking for. Honesty and communication are two of the most important aspects of a smooth wedding day. Tell your florist about your ideal colour palette. Let your photographer know if you’d like to have photos taken while you’re getting ready. Respectful, honest communication is key.
3. Make a schedule
It’s important to have a wedding schedule to help keep everyone on track on your wedding day. 4. Take time out for yourself
